Long before organic became a movement, Elizabeth was already baking with intention. Her kitchen became the beginning of something bigger, not because she set out to define clean eating, but because she refused to compromise on what real food could be. She was not ahead of the trend. The trend eventually caught up to her kitchen.
Meet Elizabeth

In her kitchen on the Central Coast, Elizabeth baked the way she fed her own family, with organic ingredients before organic was profitable, avocado oil before the seed oil conversation existed, and a simple rule that still guides the company today: if she would not feed it to her family, she would not bake it for yours. What began as a mother’s standard became Elizabeth’s Food Company, and nearly 40 years later, Elizabeth is still helping lead the product vision and R&D behind every new recipe.
